The Needham Women's Club will once again sponsor visits from Santa in Needham homes on Wednesday, December 24th from 5-7pm.
This is a service project of the Women's Club and there is no fee to participate, but donations which cover the cost of cleaning and replacing portions of Santa's wardrobe each year are greatly appreciated.
Families must have at least one child under the age of 8 to participate.
PLEASE NOTE: No more than 12 children may be included in each stop.
Families MUST be home 5-7pm - NO EXCEPTIONS - and the time of the visit is determined by the Needham Women's Club. This is a huge project with complicated logistics run completely by volunteers. Therefore, please understand that requests for a visit at a specific time can not be honored.
Families are asked to provide a SMALL (no larger than 12 x 12), inexpensive, gift-wrapped and labeled item for each child who will be home during Santa's brief visit. These gifts should be labeled and then placed in a brown paper bag with the family's name, address and telephone number written in black marker on the outside of the bag.
These gifts/bags must be dropped off on Saturday, December 6th at the Frosty's Festival event at the Broadmeadow School sometime 10:30am-1:30pm rain or snow! This will be the only drop off time and location. Donations may also be made at this time by cash or check.
The Women's Club will begin accepting the names of families who would like to participate on Friday, November 21st, 2008. Registration will be done by the completion of a web form which will be activated on 11/21. No separate emails or phone calls will be accepted this year.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the program is full - at approximately 70 families. All web forms are time stamped and priority will be determined by those dates and times. You will receive a confirmation email between 12/1- 12/5.
